Well hello there.

I am a strategic content marketing leader with 15 years experience in the digital marketing world (10 of those spent in tech and financial services). My specialties include developing and managing content strategy and governance, brand storytelling, and content testing and optimization. In addition to content creation, I enjoy building and nurturing teams where challenges are met and exceeded with positivity, curiosity, and a strong customer-centric attitude.

What I’m up to now.

Currently, I’m the Director of Content Marketing at Travelers Insurance, one of the largest personal, auto, and commercial insurance companies in the world. During my day-to-day, I create strategy that ultimately drives segmented traffic to Travelers.com, develop case studies with SMEs and customers, and working closely with company thought leaders to craft and distribute compelling content. When I’m not working, you can usually find me reading, taking care of my highland cow farm, or spending quality time with my husband and daughters.

I partnered with Fidelity Institutional’s Editorial team to launch the Growth Hub, a microsite dedicated to helping financial advisors start, scale, and optimize their practices. Within the first month of its launch, it netted thousands of unique visitors, making this one of FI’s most successful web projects to date.

Thought leadership plays a pivotal role in establishing a brand’s POV within their market. In this portfolio piece, I worked with Simply Business’s Head of US Partnerships to share his compelling thoughts on why business insurers are an often overlooked - but highly profitable - partner. This thought leadership piece included a video interview and audiograms amplified on our company’s social media channels.

Simply U - Simply Business’s blog - is one of my biggest accomplishments to date. I first launched Simply U in 2018 and, through carefully crafted content strategy and team building, grew it into a traffic powerhouse that brings in over 500,000 visitors to its digital platform.

Video plays a huge role in search engine visibility. I led the creation and launch of several segment-specific videos, which captured organic opportunities by creating vibrant and informative how-to videos, each of which complements a top-performing blog article.

In 2021, Simply Business launched its first brand campaign, entitled “We Get You. We Got You.” I played a crucial role in shaping, testing, and optimizing the brand messaging, resulting in a campaign that drove increased brand awareness and affinity.

Business insurance is a complicated product. By highlighting the crucial benefits of having insurance coverage - featuring the agents who know best - we could help customers see real value in having a policy.
